Your best bet for shopping is to head back to St. Maarten, a duty free country, where you can save big on Caribbean goods. Anguilla plays hosts to some unique shops that are worth checking out including tropical clothing stores, handmade souvenirs, soaps, body products, candles, and gift shops.

Anguilla is home to five star restaurants as well as great little cheap eateries. You can also purchase fresh food from local markets to save big and prepare your own meals. Visit The Fishery to find fresh, local catches, Fruity Web offers Caribbean fruits and vegetables, and Frankie's Fabulous Anguilla Tomatoes will give you fresh, organically grown tomatoes.

The least expensive way to access Anguilla from St. Marteen is by a ferry from Marigot. It just takes 20 minutes to cross and you can then take a taxi to any destination on Anguilla. Another option is to take a private water taxi or shuttle boat if that is more convenient for you.
