What is Pahio?
Pahio is a small timeshare company (purchased by Wyndham) consisting of six timeshare condominium and resort properties on the Hawaiian Island of Kauai. For over 20 years, the caring staff of Pahio Resorts has served the needs of its Kauai timeshare owners with friendliness and diligence, using its small size to the benefit of its owners and renters. Pahio is a unique vacation ownership group, as their governing philosophy is the Hawaiian concept of "Ohana," or "family." Owners of Pahio timeshare resales—and even those who simply rent Pahio timeshares—come to feel like part of a true family when they vacation at any of the Pahio Resorts properties.
Because Pahio only builds and manages resorts in Kauai, its properties reflect a level of care and planning unprecedented in resort development at the time of its inception. Ecological preservation has always, and continues to be, the primary concern for this Kauai timeshare group, and in turn, for its parent group, Wyndham. In fact, Pahio's design philosophy is to "add, rather than detract, from the natural beauty of the area," and every resort and condo community is constructed to blend with and cause minimal harm to the natural ecology.
The purchase of Pahio by Wyndham has not effected the quality or the care with which Pahio treats its interval owners. Rather, Wyndham's involvement in Pahio has opened the door to many new opportunities for Pahio timeshare owners. Pahio intervals are now exchangeable through Wyndham's internal network of almost 200 properties around the globe.
